w00t!
Finally finished the minotaur fight scene today. :D Basically I had to get up early for Latin class and was suddenly struck with the NEED to finish it. So I sat down at my desk and Kendra helped me through it. That girl is helpful, I'm telling you. ;)
So that's all done. I'm very glad. Adrastus justified his existence, as well, so that's good.
But now I'm suspecting that I'm about to get stuck again. Dionysus is trying to sweet-talk Aegeus into spilling some beans, and I can't help thinking that a god would have a much more efficient and speedy way of doing it. Hum.
AND I have no idea how the Athenians are going to get out of the cave without getting slaughtered. Stupid Makidon. He wasn't supposed to be this smart, honestly. Sending soldiers to the stupid entrance....gah.
Sorry, I'm being incomprehensible. Long and short of it, I am mildly enjoying the story/characters, and it's going along pretty well. I have pretty good hopes of wrapping this up in a month. :D

The forecast is looking stormy and foggy, folks.
Yeah so Nanowrimo starts in four days. Novel-wise, I'm almost completely prepared, did my research, got my plot, got my characters. Schoolwork wise...
I'm doomed.
I've got a ton of big projects coming up and I can't seem to get any of them done ahead of time. I don't know where the time goes. Sucked into the vortex of Youtube? Possibly.
Anyway. My novel this year is going to be a novelization of the Greek legend of Theseus, Ariadne, and the Minotaur. Yays! So location-wise we've got Athens, Crete, andddd Naxos. Yes, I'm doing the Naxos bit. Basically this Theseus guy, after Ariadne's saved his life and helped him save his country, ditches her on an island. It's awesome. And then the god of wine flies by and thinks she's pretty hawt so they get married.
ROFL that's my novel in a nutshell. Well, that was my first plan anyway. I'm still doing that, but after researching all these people I found out all sorts of fun things about Bacchus. Like he goes to Hades to get his wife and his mom back after they die, anddddd lots of fun stuff. W00t. So I guess I'll see how far I get in the story, and if 50,000 words gets me to the end of Naxos, fine, but if I need more words I'll go farther. Pretty much super excited.
