Read-a-thon!

My buddy kemendraugh let me know about this read-a-thon going on this weekend. I'm a bit late but I'm going to GO for it! I have a bunch of books I still need to get read this summer.

SO! My goals:
-finish The Geek's Guide to World Domination by Garth Sundem
-finish The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova
-make progress on Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales

I'll just see how it goes. ^_^

I didn't even bother to post goals, so you're already ahead of me ^_^

Oh good luck! I love The Historian. I think I read the majority of it all in one sitting which is rare for me (and I was also on a lengthy plane ride--I just couldn't stop reading).

I'll check back to see if you post any updates! Thanks for visiting my blog!

Wow, Blogging! I approve of your read-a-thon. And now I'm guilty for not participating. Next time? Next time?

Bahnree -- what are you thinking about The Historian? That is actually one I didn't finish. I am one of the rare birds who didn't care for it.. but I did make it about half way through.

Wallace: It's definitely a book that not everyone can enjoy. I like it, but that's because I like history, research, lit, and vampires. XD But it is VERY long (getting halfway through is like reading a normal book, let's face it) and there is one relationship in particular that I'm having a hard time believing in. Otherwise, I'm enjoying it.
