2010 Debut Authors Challenge!

Randomly decided I should try to do this... :)

What is the 2010 Debut Author Challenge?
The objective is to read a set number of YA (Young Adult) or MG (Middle Grade) novels from debut authors published this year.* I'm going to challenge everyone to read at least 12 debut novels! I’m hoping to read at least 30! You don’t have to list your choices right away, but if you do feel free to change them throughout the year. I will also be focusing on mostly Young Adult novels.
Anyone can join, you don’t need a blog to participate. If you don’t have a blog you can always share your views by posting a review on Amazon.com/BarnesandNoble.com/GoodReads/Shelfari, or any other bookish site.
The challenge will run from January 1, 2010- December 31, 2010. You can join at anytime!
* I would like to limit the novels to those released in 2010.

Books I've read so far:
Thirteen Reasons Why

My 12th novel will be one of these three:
The Mockingbirds by Daisy Whitney
Tyger, Tyger
I Am Number Four by Pitticus Lore

Welcome aboard! I'm scrambling to read 30 books so don't worry!

Hex Hall is an awesome read. I was laughing my butt off. Fantastic! I think you'll enjoy it a lot. I have yet to read Guardian of the Dead.

There are other books that may be up your alley for this challenge. Sisters Red by Pearce Jackson is one. There is also The Line by Teri Hall and The Deathday Letter by Hutchison which looks like a good, light-hearted read.

I also have Paranormalcy, Hunger, and Renegade X on my list of reads. I hope you enjoy them :) !

Thank you SO MUCH for the recommendations! Obviously, it's hard to know what to read as far as debuts go. ;)
